At the Bir Hospital in Kathmandu, WHO is assisting the Nepal Government in its nurse-training programme. As hospitals are still few and far between in Nepal, the arrival of patients with strange, sometimes pathetic, sometimes heroic stories are everyday happening for the nurses of Kathmandu.
