Description Fourteenth World Health Assembly (WHA14), New Delhi, 7-24 February 1961

During the course of the Assembly delegates and secretariat were invited to tea by the President ("Rashtrapathi" in Hindi) of India, Dr Rajendra Prasad. The invitation took the form of a garden party which was held in the formal, Versailles-like gardens of the "Rashtrapathi" Bhavan" (President's Palace), the official residence of the President, formerly the home of the Viceroys of India. After greeting the assembled delegates, Dr Prasad received delegates and visitors, group by group, to tea.
