Description Dr Neelam Dhingra, WHO Unit Head, Patient Safety Flagship, opens the conference on 12 September 2023. 
In line with the theme of World Patient Safety Day 2023, WHO organized a global conference entitled “Engaging patients for patient safety” at WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, on 12 and 13 September 2023. The conference allowed for diverse stakeholders to come together, share their experiences and discuss strategies for enhancing patient safety through patient engagement.
