On 12 October 2023 WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus traveled to Lyon, France, to attend the launch of France's new Global Health Strategy 2023-2027. He also visited WHO's Offices in Lyon, toured the site of the WHO Academy, and marked WHO's 75th anniversary together with WHO colleagues from IARC and the Lyon Office for Health Emergencies and Communicable Diseases, and several French Ministers.
