Headline Children with disabilities in the WHO European region 
Description At Hoofdorp, Netherlands, a special boarding school takes care of children with disabilities. A miniature community has been organized in which the children in turn are given certain definite duties to perform: class prefect, postman, storekeeper, gardener, shopkeeper etc., in order to help developing their sense of responsibilities. Besides these practical activities, the pupils follow a primary school curriculum.
