Description
Life goes on in the region of Banda Aceh and in the camps, a couple of months after the Tsunami of December 2004, while WHO is providing healthcare along with other organizations.
The original Banda Aceh health lab was partly destroyed during the tsunami, as the water reached over a meter in depth. The lab has still not reopened as many of the original staff died as their homes were in the path of the Sunday morning tsunami. Ms Nunung Machpud works in the lab.
