Description
Leprosy doesn't excites anymore the superstitious fear which made victims outcasts through the ages. Thanks to modern medicine, most cases can now be cured. Today, the accent is on rehabilitation and on making the former patient a self-supporting member of the community.
Exercise loosens joints that once were stiff.
