Description
Yellow Fever vaccination campaign in Mali
-
Almost 6 million people in Mali were vaccinated against yellow fever in a large vaccination campaign. About 6 000 health-care providers and 2 000 volunteers were engaged to reach and vaccinate people at risk of contracting yellow fever across southern Mali.
Vaccination campaign against yellow fever in villages. Each villager receives a vaccination card, which bears his or her name and age. Information about the vaccine used is also recorded for follow-up in case of adverse effects. This data is also recorded on a surveillance sheet for final tally of the number of people vaccinated.¶
