Description The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is part of the World Health Organization. IARC coordinates and conducts both epidemiological and laboratory research into the causes of human cancer.

View of the headquarters of IARC in Lyon, France. Donated by the French authorities, the building comprises a 14-floor tower with laboratories, conference rooms and offices and a separate circular 240-seat auditorium.
