On 05 May 2022, WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus visited the WHO warehouse in Rzeszow, Poland, which is being used for delivering life-saving medical supplies into Ukraine. The team showed him and WHO Executive Director of Health Emergencies Programme (HEO) Dr Michael Ryan (right) assistive technology and other items due to be shipped in the next couple of days.
