Headline Wheelchair service training in Tajikistan

Description Training in wheelchair services was held in December 2015. 42 participants from Tajikistan and Kazakhstan learnt how to correctly fit, modify and adapt wheelchairs for various users; to service wheelchairs; and to train users in using their new chairs. Fitting: During the fitting, the wheelchair user and personnel check that the wheelchair is the correct size and that all the necessary modifications and adjustments have been made to ensure optimum fit. Installation et adaptation : lors de l’installation et de l’adaptation, l’utilisateur de fauteuil roulant et le personnel vérifient que le fauteuil roulant est à la bonne taille et que toutes les modifications et ajustements nécessaires ont été effectués pour assurer une adaptation optimale.
